I have spent two decades supporting students and families in schools in the U.S. and overseas and have realized that our experiences and our growth lie deeply rooted in our own stories.

I have written three books for teenagers in this time and in my work storytelling is interwoven with therapeutic modalities grounded in Relational-Cultural Theory, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Narrative Therapy.

I am a mother of two, a partner, a sister, a daughter and a fiercely committed friend and all of this supports how I approach working with individuals and communities.

 

I grew up in the green mountains of Vermont and have spent my adult life living, learning and working around the world from New York City to Accra, Ghana to Kobe, Japan and many cities and communities in between.

I am especially drawn to supporting you through transitions—whether external, like moves and life changes, or internal shifts in identity and roles. I work with individuals in a therapeutic setting, as well as individuals and groups using narrative work and creative writing to deepen self-awareness in times of transition.
